ScovantBot

ScovantBot evaluates whether public websites are accessible and usable by AI agents. Each scan is initiated by a user of the Scovant service (an Intermediary Agent).

User-Agent: ScovantBot/1.0 (+https://bot.scovant.com/bot; contact=bot@scovant.com)

• accesses public web pages only;
• honors robots.txt Disallow rules for the ScovantBot user-agent;
• uses a conservative per-domain rate limit (~10 requests/minute);
• signs requests with Cloudflare Web Bot Auth (Ed25519);
• as part of an identity probe, may send one additional request carrying its own Signature-Agent with a deliberately unverifiable signature — this tests whether the edge verifies signatures, never impersonates another agent, and never retries;
• does not solve CAPTCHAs or bypass access controls;
• does not retry responses blocked by bot protection (401/403 or challenges);
• does not submit forms or perform transactions unless explicitly authorized.

Site owners may contact bot@scovant.com to request exclusion, report abuse, or verify domain ownership for extended scans.
